  • This role requires hands-on, practical Engineering experience to support a new product being developed for the ADAS industry
  • The objective is to work as part of a cross-functional team that will build the service offering
  • A technical education and practical experience in the automotive business with electronics or sensors would provide a strong foundation for this position
  • The capability to help instrument vehicles, create system solutions to practical problems, understand sensor data and be able to work in an agile environment are key to being successful
  • The ideal candidate will combine experience from a technical environment with an Engineering or Computer Science degree, and will have a proven ability to work independently


  • Build and instrument ADAS test vehicles for data collection, recording the test results and defects
  • Specify system components, test and measurement equipment required to complete the data collection
  • Good understanding of vehicle technology, including demonstrated knowledge of electronic control units and problem diagnosis 
  • Recording vehicle communication data when required
  • Perform testing in vehicle on public roads as required, including driving to accumulate mileage data from sensors
  • Support the validation team on regression testing of existing data as needed
  • Extraction of data from vehicle and performing daily migration to data storage
  • Frequent reporting of progress to cross-functional team
  • Development of system and technical solutions to add product development
  • Assist in resolving bugs and verification of corrective action
  • Ability to escalate issues clearly and rapidly
  • Interacting with in-house Product and Validation teams to explain details of problems found (as required) 
  • Conduct quality assurance testing for Data and Analytics products
  • Train project personnel on solution functionality, workflow and demo best practices.
  • Create, maintain, own documents e.g. wiring diagrams, hardware component lists, data collection process/procedures, presentation materials 
  • Work with other teams to get missing details to complete understanding and documentation
  • Own various sub-projects within the greater project i.e. identifying proper people to talk to, initiating and maintaining relationships with those groups, and keeping sub-projects going 


  • Experience assembling electronic test systems, and the ability to diagnose faults
  • Ability to work in a test location or garage independently
  • Experience with data hardware systems – file transfer and communication protocols
  • Documentation of results and communication of findings in a complex technical environment
  • Strong time management skills to support multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Excellent communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Bachelors Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
