Desktop Analyst. A Desktop Analyst contract-to-hire role is immediately available with our client in Santa Clara, CA. The position within IT Client Support provides single IT support for the facility, including configuring, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting desktops, laptops, printers and other computer equipment.

Monday – Friday 9-5 schedule but some weekend activity as well as being on-call.

Job Duties:

  • Confers with end users, technology teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and fulfill requests.
  • Partners with end users to correlate business requirements to technology solutions (strong business acumen).
  • Responds to customer needs and services as assigned.
  • Acts as a liaison for day to day ticket handling
  • Assist in inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Installs/removes/configures hardware and software.

Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with Zebra printers
  • Familiarity with iPad devices a plus
  • Works independently
  • Basic to intermediate troubleshooting skills
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Works well with others
  • Understanding of hardware and software
  • 25% potential travel
