HR Data Analyst.  We have an immediate contract need in Columbus, Ohio for an HR Data Analyst who will be responsible to act as a business liaison with Human Resources, IT, Benefits, and Payroll for bridging HR Business requirements with technology, and to monitor the development, implementation, and maintenance associated with the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) architecture.

Essential Functions:

  • Troubleshooting, training, documenting enhancements and module implementations will also be a core part of the HRIS Analyst role. The HRIS Analyst will work closely with the HRIS team to enhance HR system processes in conjunction with HR priorities.
  • Participate in Global HRIS special projects that involve migrating to Oracle HCM.
  • Assists with the evaluation, analysis, design and maintenance of company Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Liaison with IT staff in resolving Global HRIS issues.
  • Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions.
  • Write functional specifications to modify existing functionality in HRIS, which includes new reports and interfaces.
  • Conduct and coordinate QA for all system related issues.
  • Document business processes.
  • Create training manuals and curriculum for end users.
  • Ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong capabilities with Excel including Macros and Pivot Tables.
  • Knowledge of human resources and/or system business processes and practices.
  • Experience with reporting tools and process documentation.
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage confidential data.
  • Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude.
  • Ability to work alone and within a team environment.
  • A wide degree of inventiveness and autonomy is expected.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work on time.
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced environment.
  • Experience with ADP Reporting, ADP Query or similar query application.
  • Ability to write basic SQL Select statements.
  • Understanding of standards in a fiscally successful project.
