Lead ITIL Analyst. Our Columbus, Ohio client has a contract-to-hire opportunity available for a LOCAL Lead ITIL Analyst who will be a part of Service Governance and will be responsible for the administration practices and procedures associated with the management of ITIL processes implementation. The position may also monitors outsourced IT service provider performance and compliance against contracts, identifies variances, and recommends corrective actions. This position may perform audits to ensure contract compliance and performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • This position is a professional level role and provides administration for ITIL process deployment.  ITIL is an IT process framework which helps an organization document standard processes and assess the effectiveness and maturity of those processes.
  • This role functions, somewhat independently, under general direction of managers or directors and generally follows documented procedures and checklists.
  • A successful candidate will be detail oriented, highly motivated, able to work independently, have strong communication skills, with a passion for excellence and owning their scope of work and responsibility.
  • Service Provider Governance establishes a Governance Model which includes:
    • 1) Relationship Management
    • 2) Performance Management
    • 3) Finance Management
    • 4) Contract Management as it relates to the IT Service Providers. 
  • This team has oversight to ensure these management processes are working to drive effective Service Provider delivery of IT services. 
  • This team also oversees the IT ITIL processes implementation.

Qualifications:

Preferred for Selection:

  • Must have a very strong ITIL background, minimum of 6 years of experience
  • ITIL / Contract Management experience / Software Asset Management / Audit and Compliance
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • ITIL Foundations Certification and additional ITIL Certifications preferred
  • Ability to develop and sustain solid working relationships with customers, stakeholders and vendors.
  • Strong collaboration, negotiation, communication, organization, people management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in outsourced environments and working with legal counsel
  • Advanced skills with computers, MS Office Suite, MS Project, and Visio
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Excellent analytical abilities, including process analysis, data analysis, and problem solving 
  • Strong documentation skills and the ability to present and summarize contract details and options as required
  • Ability to assess a situation based on data and negotiate a fair outcome supported by our contract
  • Ability to assist in development of other team members and work collaboratively with others
  • Working knowledge of industry-specific regulatory requirements (i.e., SOX, FERC, State and Federal, etc.)

Additional Information (optional):

  • PMP, Six Sigma, or ITIL certification preferred 
  • IT operational/functional knowledge
