.NET / Document Imaging Developer. We are seeking a contractor in Columbus, Ohio for the role of .NET / Document Imaging Developer to perform the following software support (RUN) and development (BUILD) activities: 


  • Design, develop and implement new software functionalities for digital image capture, enhancement and transmission. Software portfolio includes OpenText Captiva, IBML scanning, ADLIB and Deposit 21 (check image scan and transmission). 


  • Application incident and triage. 
  • Application monitoring. 

Role Accountabilities: 

  • Configures systems and/or develops and maintains high quality code. 
  • Test individual programs and configurations (e.g. unit-level testing) 
  • Debugs systems and resolves technical issues. 
  • Documents technical solution within the systems. 
  • Identifies problems and recommends corresponding solutions. 
  • Determines programming effects on existing systems. 
  • Modifies detailed applications with minimal to moderate guidance. 
  • Programs applications at the highest level of technical expertise. 
  • Maintains solid knowledge of all application programming coupled with specific domain knowledge. 
  • Provides technical consulting on complex projects. 
  • Contributes to strategic vision of the organization. 
  • Is sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex IT application development problems.

Position Requirements:

  • **Experience w/ digital image capture technologies such as OpenText Captiva and/or OpenText Documentum. Enterprise Content Management (ECM) experience preferred. ** 
  • Experienced in C#, VB.NET, SQL knowledge.
  • Strong communication, planning and leadership skills. 
  • Four to six years of experience in programming and systems analysis.
  • Proven computer programming language knowledge. 
  • Understanding of project management concepts and techniques. 
  • Proven knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC). 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and program complex applications and systems. 
  • Thorough understanding of systems and data processing policies, practices and procedures.
