Our client in Boston, Massachusetts is seeking a PM/BA.

The duties for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Act as Project Manager and direct and exercise an efficient system of control through the oversight of the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) pilot
  • Outline project timelines, monitor and evaluate progress and identified program milestones
  • Collaborate with other internal units and conduct impact and data analysis
  • Utilize data and internal/external feedback to inform current HIP program operations, procedures and programming and potential operational changes.
  • Convene and facilitate meetings and communication with the client's senior management team and external partners including sister agencies, retailers, and community partners.
  • Research and identify best practices and recommend successful program model changes
  • Responsible for all contract management, training, record keeping, internal controls, security, evaluation and reporting associated with HIP and the CSA pilot including
  • Monitor the progress, risk and quality of all HIP operational activities
  • Partner with sister agencies and community-based organization to foster interagency collaboration
  • Represent the Department at external meetings, committees, conferences and coalitions
  • Provide supervision and monitoring of all deliverables associated with HIP and the CSA pilot
  • Review and submit bi-annual and annual reports to client and other external entities as necessary

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of the needs of low-income individuals and families, and the client's public assistance programs that serve them.
  • Knowledge of the mission, goals and objective of SNAP.
  • Strong program and project management skills
  • Highly-skilled in execution and implementation of a high-impact and public-facing program
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource management including behavioral techniques, planning, forecasting, organizational development, etc.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations governing the functions of the agency.
  • Knowledge of development of best practices.
  • Knowledge of data collection and analysis methodologies.
  • Knowledge of project monitoring and evaluation systems.
  • Knowledge of client local office practices.
  • Knowledge of methods and techniques of policy analysis.
  • Knowledge of organization development techniques, principles and methods.
  •  Ability to design and implement planning, policy, research and evaluation processes.
  • Ability to coordinate and direct project activities.
  • Ability to analyze data as a tool.
  • Ability to identify mission critical initiatives and prioritize accordingly.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to meet numerous and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and offer creative solutions or workarounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with external individuals and organizations in a diplomatic and efficient manner.
  • Ability to coordinate numerous projects simultaneously to successful completion.
  • Ability to interpret and use data in problem-solving and process improvement.Ability to understand, apply and explain pertinent laws, rules, regulations, policies and programs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
