ServiceNow Administrator. A contractor is needed in Columbus, Ohio to fulfill a ServiceNow Administrator role that involves 90% administration / 10% development.


  • Communicate and collaborate with team members, all stakeholders and end users
  • General support, administration and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated applications
  • Work on Level 2 and Level 3 tickets assigned for Client’s ServiceNow functionality or technical issues
  • Perform Unit Testing
  • Fixing defects raised after UAT
  • Configure Applications using ServiceNow tool used in ITIL Management
  • Configure User accounts, Groups, Roles and importing users
  • Work closely with ServiceNow functional team to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes from the customer to the fulfillment teams
  • Train L1 team (Service Desk) and created knowledge articles for the team and end users
  • Work on fixing Inbound emails issues and creating new inbound actions
  • Perform Code review after each release cycle
  • Perform Data Loads
  • Integration with 3rd party apps
  • Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow
  • Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications
  • Work with dynamic HTML components: JavaScript, XML, HTML
  • Work on the ITIL Process Configuration like Incident, Problem, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, and SLA in ServiceNow
  • Work with Import Sets and Transform Maps
  • Work with IT managers to generate views and reports as needed


  • Experience in writing Client Scripts (scripting experience), Business Rules, UI Actions, UI Policies and Workflows for automation
  • Strong understanding of ITIL V3
