Our client in Boston, Massachusetts is seeking a SharePoint Administrator. 


  • Works as a SharePoint developer, web developer, and maintain responsibility for supporting need of various business groups and internal clients.
  • Develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains and debugs software applications and interfaces that support business units. Support the development of technical solution documentation and training.
  • Design, maintain, improve, integrate, and develop online SharePoint 2016 solution. Plan, lead, and execute SharePoint and other .Net web development tasks.
  • Works with end users to develop and modify SharePoint 2016 sites. Captures requirements, develops site content framework and SharePoint web parts. Trains end users and updates SharePoint tools and objects in response to evolving user needs.
  • Works independently to identify and execute maintenance and upgrade activities for assigned SharePoint 2016 sites.
  • Develop solutions to urgent business problems, leveraging existing tools and services wherever possible and otherwise building them as custom applications.
  • Ability to leverage expertise in time management to complete assignments independently and effectively.
  • Works on creating new interface for and support current Interface for SharePoint 2016 sites that provides information from various applications, (create or leverage APIs) wherever possible.
  • Perform the above duties while maintaining application security, SDLC, and change management best practices.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhances and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.


  • 3-5 years of professional experience.
  • BS degree or higher in a technical discipline.
  • Professional in demeanor and high customer service and interaction skills.
  • Has good communication skills and ability to work with minimal guidance.
  • In depth knowledge of SharePoint Administration-, site libraries, workflows, OOB Development, Taxonomy and Governance.
  • Good working knowledge of InfoPath development, forms and workflows use.
  • Strong skills in HTML5 programing.
  • Working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript and .NET. and SQL languages
  • Strong aptitude for learning new skills and applications.
  • PowerShell experience a plus.
  • Experience administering and developing with SharePoint.
  • Experience with IIS7
  • Knowledge of Group Policy development and deployment.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and administration.
