Job Description, Required Skills, Education, Experience:

  • Responsible for requirement gathering from business and work with the Business throughout to make sure that the functionalities are in line to the expectation. 
  • Perform Impact analysis, Gap analysis and draft requirement document describing the enhanced functionality for “To Be System “.
  • Handling a team at offshore. This involves Client Interaction for understanding requirements, discussion with offshore team to conduct scrums for requirement/design discussions and finally ensuring an on time delivery from offshore. Responsible for coordinating and providing inputs to offshore resources for the work assigned to them and to make sure they are able to work without any bottlenecks
  • Involved as senior Java developer to Plan, Design, Develop, Test and Document the enhancements /outstanding problems in the Applications dealing with Institutional Investment , portfolio management and rebalancing, maintaining Account Positions and Balances, etc. within the company. The work requires my niche skills in J2EE, EJB , Spring Framework, Web Services, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), TDD, Working knowledge of SQL Server, cloud native application to design/develop the components. 
  • Involved in complete SDLC to Develop Restful Services, APIs(Application program interface) and Web Interface for J2EE applications, Building applications using Ant and Maven, Deployment of applications in Tomcat /Jboss application servers . 
  • Involved in UI development and maintenance with Angular 2+ , J2EE technologies
  • Assist in maintaining the Quality Assurance of the application by validating Test Plans, Test Scenarios and Test Cases for integration, Smoke testing regression and User Acceptance testing (UAT). Work on the HP Quality Center to Track tests run to ensure all testing has been completed and ensure that all the defects have been retested. Follow the Test Driven Development methodology for development using JUnit and Mock frameworks.
  • Responsible for the code review and quality of deliverables to ensure that there are no relevant direct/indirect issues which could compromise the sanity of applications involved. Monitoring the status of issues/observations reported during QA testing.
  • Involved in the investigation of Production issues whenever necessary.
