Our client in Rocky Hill, Connecticut is seeking a Sr. / Lead .NET Developer for a six month contract. 


Successful candidates' responsibilities will include:  working closely with a team of Developers and key business staff on the development of new and existing systems, will be heavily involved in all aspects of the application design/architect/build (database, web, client apps, services and system interfaces) and will have an important role in helping to make critical technical and design decisions during the development process. 


  • 5+ years’ experience as a developer with team lead experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience with ASP.NET/C#/MVC
  • 3+ years working with SQL Server (2005/2008 preferred). 
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP). 
  • Knowledge of the .NET 4.0/4.5 Framework, including Visual Studio 2010/2012, C#, ASP.NET, WPF, and WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET
  • Database development skills (SQL required including creating views, writing stored procedures and triggers, and schema changes.) 
  • Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA). 
  • Prior experience with Team Foundation Server is required. 
  • Collaborate with technical team members and functional architects to design and implement customized corporate end-user applications for the company. 
  • Responsible for designing, integration and developing web-based applications and related backend systems. 
  • Participate in both the re-engineering of existing systems, as well as the design and implementation of new features and interfaces. 
  • Monitor and maintain/enhance the ongoing performance of systems. 

Required Skills 

  • 3+ years' ASP.Net and MVC Framework 
  • 2+ year's Javascript
